Mr. Vince offers the flexibility of Open Studio! Young artists will enjoy exploring the fundamentals of drawing and painting in a friendly and supportive environment. The goal of this program is to develop childrens’ confidence in their ability to create expressive artwork. Students will use oil and soft pastels, watercolor, tempera, acrylics and a wide range of other media. Note: Kids' Open Studio sessions can be used to attend Saturday Adventures in Art.

Discover your creativity while learning the basics of design and watercolor painting together. Have fun exploring the expansiveness of color, the importance of design, the illusion of space and motion, and the creation of atmosphere and mood in painting. Watch some watercolor demonstrations and create you own illustration. Imagine, learn and create together!

Watercolors can sparkle, create a moody atmosphere, be detailed and complex or be spontaneous and simple. Would you like to discover some of the fun and cool ways to paint with watercolor? This class will give you the chance to discover your creativity while learning basic techniques and finding some surprising effects of other materials in your watercolor painting. There will be how to demonstrations, and you can create watercolor illustrations of your own.
Sparkling Wind Dancer

Create your own wind dancer, full of sparkles and imagination. We will start with a watercolor painting that you create and add flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, gems, ribbons and beaded streamers. When your wind dancer is complete it will be ready to catch summer breezes.
