Mr. Vince offers the flexibility of Open Studio! Young artists will enjoy exploring the fundamentals of drawing and painting in a friendly and supportive environment. The goal of this program is to develop childrens’ confidence in their ability to create expressive artwork. Students will use oil and soft pastels, watercolor, tempera, acrylics and a wide range of other media. Note: Kids' Open Studio sessions can be used to attend Saturday Adventures in Art.

Discover your creativity while learning the basics of design and watercolor painting together. Have fun exploring the expansiveness of color, the importance of design, the illusion of space and motion, and the creation of atmosphere and mood in painting. Watch some watercolor demonstrations and create you own illustration. Imagine, learn and create together!
Watercolor Illustration for Kids

Experiment with many watercolor techniques, watch demonstrations and create your own illustrations! Watercolors can sparkle, create a moody atmosphere, be detailed and complex or be spontaneous and simple. Let your personality and imagination show as we explore some of the many ways to change ideas and images into watercolor illustrations.
Chinese Brush for Kids

One Saturday a month, a different subject each time!

These three hour workshops will introduce young people to the art of Chinese brush painting. This is a fascinating way to learn how to paint while also learning how to see as an artist does. Complete two or three paintings each afternoon! These workshops will help your child's current skills or see their artistic side for the first time.
